Huge changes in Test Rankings--Chennai Test

South Africa currently tours in India...The first test match was played in chennai last week.... But unfortunately the bowlers were not able to fame much....Its been a batsman's game.... Virender Sehwag's career best 319 against South Africa catapulted him to the 12th spot in the ICC Test Rankings, making him the highest ranked Indian in the batting chart...Sehwag, whose triple ton was the fastest in Test history, jumped 13 places to 12th spot after a massive 17 per cent rise in his rating that saw him leapfrogging compatriots Rahul Dravid (13th), Sachin Tendulkar (15th) and VVS Laxman (18th).... Dravid himself rose two places to 13th following his 25th Test century, while Tendulkar dropped three places to 15th position after a fifth-ball duck in the Chennai Test against South Africa. Not only it causes changes in indians, also in South african side too...Amla, who made scores of 159 and 81, rocketed up 10 places to a career-best 24th spot while McKenzie, who contributed 94 and 155 not out, jumped 26 places to 36th position. Jacques Kallis, however, continued his slide in the rankings as he slipped another place to drop to fourth behind Australia's Ricky Ponting, while captain Graeme Smith fell two places to 16th position....

Overall its a good news for Sehwag,Amla,Smith, Dravid and Mckenzie...

Rajini's fame succeed South Africa too:

Super star Rajinikanth's fame not only covered US and Japan... Rajini mania has spread as far and wide till South Africa. The South African team's fast bowler Ntini has recently confessed his obsession to the superstar's movies and his style in particular....Ntini sure seems to be fond of Rajinikanth's style statements and demonstrates the actor's famous finger tricks for Baba....

He also makes people drop their jaw by imitating 'Peraketaale Summa Adirudilla' tagline from the last year blockbuster Sivaji flawlessly that stands proof to the number of times he watched the movie.....Ntini's revelation has earned him many amused fans in Chennai where he is stationed along with his team for the first test cricket series against India....

Our superstar seems to be in ongoing project of kuselan,in which three songs were specially

made for him...Kuselan rocks....

Rahul Dravid--Tops amongs those toppers:

Rahul Dravid--the wall for indian joins five digit scorer club yesterday against SA in the chennai test...He was the sixth batsman to reach 10,000,third among the Indians after sunil gavaskar and sachin Tendulkar.... He said that he could see that picture in his mind, that Gavaskar late-cutting in Ahmedabad and raising his bat for his 10,000,since he was the 1st batsman who done it.

Dravid joined Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara as the only two players with 10,000 runs in both Tests and one-dayers. It's a particularly significant achievement for Dravid, because of the number of challenges he needed to overcome in ODIs. He maintained the one-day milestone was special but was clear about valuing his Test runs more.....
He have worked pretty hard from 9000 to 10,000. In some ways, it was a sign for him to learn to enjoy these things, learn to reflect on these moments. The last 1000 has been a learning curve for him... He was the batsman who tops in some fields among those who acheived 10,000 runs...
**the least number of duck outs...

**the highest average score....
Keep going Rahul........

Safeguarding from infection through Pen Drives:

Aliens in pen drives rely upon autorun to affect your system. As soon as you insert an affected pen drive and double click on its icon in My Computer, be assured that your system is now infected. The best way (probably the only good way) to stop this is by disabling autorun. You can do this by manually editing the registry which is not always the best option. Instead, you could download TweakUI, released by Microsoft for tweaking the performance and related issues of Windows XP.

Using TweakUI (TweakUI is a PowerToy for Windows XP released by Microsoft):

  • Download it from Microsoft Download Center and install it. Pretty straight forward installation and shouldn’t be any problem. Run it.
  • Disable autoplay on all drives. (You may keep it on for your CD or DVD drives if you wish)

  • This will disable autoplay for all drives and hence, when you insert the device, your PC will not be infected. But it is not over yet.
  • As soon as you connect a device, always right click on its icon in My Computer and click on Open. Better yet, use Windows Explorer to view the contents. Enable option to view hidden files and folders.
  • Delete the ‘autorun.inf’ file if present and any suspicious ‘.exe’ files if found.
  • Your pen drive is now clean.

Follow these steps every time you use the pen drive. These steps are usually required if your anti-virus software fails to detect/resolve the threat.

The arrival of the movie “Vellithirai” has not dethroned “Anjathe”
“Anjathe” (Dir. Mysskin) Mysskin has shot to big league with “Anjathe”. Everyone has lauded performances of both Narain and Prasanna. It is follwed by

* Sadhu Miranda (Dir Siddique) Malayalam director Siddique’s Tamil film is a success.

As per the audiance point of view this movie Anjathey was an outstanding one but a little slower one.......

Management Lessons from Rajini's punch dialogue:

Here are some of the punch dialogues from our super star .....How beneficial they are for management studies?????

Rajni's punch: " Khanna naan yosikama sollrathile, sollittu yosikrithile'
Management Lesson: Planning is absolutely important and having planned there is no need for any re confirmation in the attainment of the objective.

Rajni's Dialogue ( in 16 vayathinile )
" Ithu eppadi iruku"
Management Mantra: Getting the opinion of the downline is very important for any top management. This makes an organisation very democratic"

Rajni's punch: ( in Dharmathin Thalaivan)

Rajni's Punch: ( In Baasha )
" Naan oru thadavai sonna, nooru vaati sonna mathuri " Management Mantra: In less than 10 words, he narrates the importance of proper communication skills and listening skills. There should always be clarity and authority in what the management says and the there should be no room for any misinterpretation. Also if the listening skill is well established, we can avoid waste of time and efforts in communicating the same subject thru phone, mails, memos etc..

Rajni's punch: ( in Baba )

Rajni's Punch: ( in Baba )
" Asantha adikirathu unga style. Asarama adikirathu Baba style" Management Mantra: " It is very important to be pro active than reactive.
